The London Knights are rolling through the OHL playoffs, staying perfect with a dramatic 4-3 overtime victory over the Erie Otters on Thursday night in Pennsylvania.

In what turned out to be the tightest contest of their postseason so far, Sam O’Reilly emerged as the hero, netting the game-winning goal nearly seven minutes into the extra frame. It was his second goal of the night, capping off a stellar performance.

The game was a back-and-forth battle from the start. London opened the scoring, but Erie responded with two quick goals to take the lead early in the second period. The Knights then bounced back with two of their own to regain the advantage, only for the Otters to tie it up early in the third—forcing the game into overtime.

With the win, the Knights advance to the OHL’s final four for the third consecutive season, continuing their dominant playoff run. They now await the winner of the Windsor Spitfires vs. Kitchener Rangers series. Windsor currently leads that matchup 3-1 and has a chance to wrap it up on home ice Friday night.
