Get ready for a mild and mostly enjoyable Easter weekend—just don’t forget to keep an umbrella handy, especially on Friday.
While some rain and the chance of thunderstorms are in the forecast to kick things off, CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison assures it won’t be a total washout.
“We’ll see some showers and thunderstorms to start Friday, but the risk will taper off through the day,” said Atchison. “There’s still a slight chance of unsettled weather into the afternoon.”
Despite the rain, Friday is expected to feel more like late May or early June, with temperatures climbing into the upper teens and low 20s.
Saturday morning will bring a cold front along with another round of showers, but don’t let that dampen your plans.
“This weekend is definitely not a wash,” Atchison emphasized. “We’ve just got a couple of weather fronts to deal with—but there will be plenty of dry, pleasant periods to enjoy the outdoors. Sunday is shaping up to be absolutely fantastic.”
