Get ready for a wild ride through the weather this spring — we’re in for a true mix of sunshine, rain, and even a touch of snow as we head into the weekend and beyond.
Friday starts off bright and cheerful, with sunshine dominating the morning and temperatures climbing to a pleasant 12°C by the afternoon. But don’t pack away the umbrella just yet — the clear skies won’t last.
“We’re expecting more cloud cover later in the day as a low-pressure system tracks through the Ohio Valley,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “That system will start pushing moisture into our region late Friday into Friday night.”
Although Friday should remain dry, conditions take a turn overnight.
“The weekend forecast looks unsettled,” Atchison warned. “We’re expecting periods of rain throughout Saturday. As temperatures drop to near freezing Saturday night, snow could mix in by Sunday.”
Despite the chillier outlook, there’s good news: temperatures are expected to rebound by midweek, bringing a return to more seasonable spring conditions.
