The sexual assault trial involving five former members of Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team is expected to resume Friday following a delay caused by a juror’s illness.
Washington Capitals forward Taylor Raddysh is scheduled to continue his testimony as court proceedings restart. Raddysh, who was also part of the 2018 team, told the court he remembers little about the night of the alleged incident, which occurred in a London, Ontario, hotel room in June 2018.
Raddysh is not facing any charges or accusations of wrongdoing.
Michael McLeod, Carter Hart, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube, and Callan Foote have all pleaded not guilty to sexual assault.
