The London Knights continued their dominant playoff run with a 6-3 victory over the Erie Otters in Game 1 of their second-round OHL playoff series Thursday night at Canada Life Place. With the win, the Knights remain undefeated in the 2024-25 postseason.

Erie struck first late in the opening frame, but the Knights didn’t stay quiet for long. A quick response in the dying minutes of the first gave way to an offensive surge in the second, where London tallied three goals, matched by two from the Otters to keep it close.

The game’s standout performance came from Knights captain Denver Barkey, who completed a hat-trick with an empty-netter in the third, sealing the win in style. Easton Cowan was equally impressive, notching four assists in the effort.

The Knights now hold a 1-0 series lead in the best-of-seven matchup, with Game 2 set for Saturday night in London.
